The health and safety of employees, contractors, partners as well as those impacted by the activities of the Company are of paramount importance and concern. The Company is committed to ensuring safe working practices and a safe working environment; we will educate, monitor, report, and seek to improve when appropriate, with ultimate responsibility for this falling to the Board.

To this end we will:

  • Assess, identify and manage respective health and safety, as well as environmental risks, and their potential impacts.
  • Prevent incidents with rigorous training and the education of staff on health and safety risks, and best practices.
  • Actively engage and consult with employees on day-to-day conditions and concerns they may have, with anonymity if needed.
  • Ensure all employees fully engage in their responsibilities which includes ensuring their own, and others, compliance with the policy.
  • Ensure the recording, reporting, and investigation of all incidents and near misses to ensure continual learning and improvement.
  • Monitor and positively influence partners and operators: commitment to a standard with reporting and communication guarantees.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Continually review and improve on all information obtained, including the policy itself.

Protecting the environment is fundamental to our business. OFS commits to conducting its operations in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and to the highest industry standards. The Company will comply with the legislation of each country in which it operates, raising these minimum requirements if they fall below the Company’s own thresholds. The Company requires the same of its partners and operators, and to this end will monitor and positively influence, by way of commitment to a standard with reporting and communication guarantees.
